Love the App But Copy And Paste Is Markdown

I really like this app. I wish it would sync with Google Docs where you can import AND export, but you can’t which is a bummer. What I do love about it is that it’s such much easier to work on than having to fire up a browser and get distracted. It’s streamlined and the iOS app is nice too. It’s great for quick easy writing. Although it does feel just a bit slow when typing, definitely not as fast as Google Docs. If Google Docs came out with an app like this I would be all over. I’m crossing my fingers hoping Google will acquire Quip (as I’m sure they are too!) The one thing I that is a bit of an annoyance is that copy and pasting from the doc is markdown. Bummer! A great feature request would be to resize the colum where text is written. I like going full screen but don’t want my eyes to feel like an old school type writer having to run from one side of the screen to the other. I want it in a tight little space that I can edit. Sort of like Omniwriter does. Bottom line this app has A LOT of potential. Hopefully it continues to get more streamlined, faster, more integrated with Google Docs and an ability to make slight adjustments to the writing experience.
